I say to Kindle that is the answer...

to the question To Kindle or not to Kindle. I love it!!!! I have had it for a month now and take it every where with me. It's easy to read and no glare. What is so fun is the highlighting feature that saves into your clippings folder. Also having the classics available for free is outstanding. You always have your wish list with you so when you finsih one book you can look at your wish list and start another one. I have read and recommend Kindle Editions:

The Kommandant's Girl by Pam Jenoff 4 stars Very exciting and fast paced. Great ending!!

The Girl with the Dragon Tatto by Stieg Larrson 4.5 stars~beware very graphic, but I couldn't put it down!!

My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveria 3.5 stars A good story but sometimes a bit boring.

Moon Rock by Arthur Rees 4.5 stars Loved it!!! Had no idea about this author or the book. Found it in British classic mystery section of Kindle store for .99. Grabs you from the beginning. Very atmospheric. Takes place in Cornwal, England in Edwardian time period.

and currently reading~Pentacost Alley by Anne Perry.

Anyway I wanted to check back and let y'all know how I liked it. I ended up getting one for my husband for Christmas.

I say take the plunge and go Kindle!!

  1. I dont have a Kindle but a nook instead. After having it almost a year I finally read my first ebook while on vacation... it was awesome! I could take it anywhere and did not have to worry about the pages/cover becoming destroyed as I was on the go. Of course, I shall still buy actual books to fill my shelves (nothing could replace the feeling a book in had gives you), but I am really excited to read many more ebooks with such ease. Glad you love it :)

  2. Hi! I thought I was the last person on earth who had not transitioned to kindle yet. I'm still on the fence, as I just love the look and feel of the printed page. However, I do see the huge advantage of a kindle for on-the-go reading (while waiting in carpool lines for the kids at school, in the doctor's office, or traveling). Glad yours is working out for you!

  4. I am still trying to decide, but there seem to be lots of good reasons to get one.

  5. My friend really adores her Nook and brings it with her everywhere! I don't have that need to read digitally on the go yet.. but when I do I think I would prefer the Nook for it's styling.

    Enjoy your Kindle!!
    Happy New Year!!

  6. I think I would only get a kindle if I traveled more often. I go through so many books at an airport its not even funny. With a young child and a small income, I don't travel as much as I'd like. Enjoy your Kindle!
